NPS Area 32 Summer Show

The NPS Area 32 Committee would like to express their sincere thanks & appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the Summer Show. In particular the Show's sponsors, the judges and stewards who gave their time. A special thank you to the Davies & Gordon families for providing the super prizes for the show raffle and to Derek Spencer for the commentary and ensuring the rings ran smoothly on the day.

A huge congrats to Charlotte Smiley and Keizershoek Fons for securing the Olympia ticket @ the Summer Show.  The NPS Area 32 committee wish to extend all the very best of luck to the pair in December.

NPS Area 32 Championships
  • The 2010 Championships will take place on Wednesday 28 July 2010 at Clogher Valley Show, by kind permission of the Clogher Show Committee.
  • Championships will commence at circa 2.30pm on conclusion of the Clogher showing classes.
  • Judging the 2010 NPS N.I. Championships is Mrs R Rennocks from the Rendene Stud, Herts.
  • Shows hosting 2010 qualifiers for the NPS Area 32 Championships are:- Armagh, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Castlewellan, Clogher, Greenacres & NPS Spring & Summer.
  • Qualifying notices & entry forms etc will be issued to successful competitors early July.
  • Clogher Valley Show schedules will be available shortly www.cloghervalleyshow.com  

NPS Area 32 Summer Show
  • The show will take place on Saturday 26 June 2010 at Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Greenisland, Carrickfergus BT38 8RP, by kind permission of Ruth Wilson.
  • Schedule & Entry Form are available to download from the Events Page
  • The Show will be run in accordance with the 2010 NPS Rule Book, www.nationalponysociety.org.uk/index.php/cms/NPSRulesBook
  • Please note the NPS membership criteria for the 'Olympia' NPS/Baileys Horse Feeds Mountain & Moorland Supreme Ridden qualifier.
  • Owners of ponies entering the classes 51-55 inclusive must be Adult/Showing Members of the National Pony Society and the rider must show the 2010 membership card before entering the ring.
  • Overseas & Southern Ireland exhibitors requiring stabling should contact the NPS Area 32 Secretary, Marie Bell 028 9337 8850 or email tony@beltoy.freeserve.co.uk

NPS Area 32 Spring Show schedule has been updated to included Miniature Horse classes and  more Youngstock Breeding classes.

NPS Area 32 [N.I.] Spring Show
The NPS Area 32 Spring Show will take place on Easter Saturday, 3 April 2010 at Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Upper Road, Greenisland, Carrickfergus BT38 8RP. Classes will commence at 9.00am. Judges for the show are Mr Robin Avery & Mr Chris Patrick, Lancs. In the event of inclement weather all classes will be held indoors. NPS Area 32 [N.I.] Local Area Membership
The NPS Area 32 has a Local Area Membership scheme in place which entitles members to the benefits of reduced entry fees at all NPS Area 32 shows and the NPS N.I. Championships. The annual cost of the Local Area Membership is �10 per annum. Exhibitors interested in joining the scheme should complete the 2010 Local Area Membership Application Form and return it to the Secretary by the 1 April 2010 with the required fee. Cheques to be made payable to 'NPS Area 32'.
